Clock signed j.f.Bautte & cie à Genève, 1840
The brass gilded case, 15 cm, has faceted glass on three sides. The dial is silver-plated.
The anchor-escapement is visible, the striking train strikes every hour and half-hour on a bell and the movement has also an alarm.
The clock can be rewinded at the back. When you turn the dust-protector aside, the winding holes do appear.
At the back you can find his signature and the different parts of the case are marked with his initials.
The original case is made with ray leather and contains the double key to wind up.
