The movement is a robust English mechanism with a fusee system. The clock has a diameter of 28 cm, making it smaller than most other pub clocks. The rim and case are made of light red-colored wood, with glass set in its brass rim. It is signed "M.R.C. Cillett Bland & Co Croydon." This clock has a runtime of one week.
