French mantelclock with white marble ca 1850 and perpetual calendar.
White marble with gilded posts and beveled glass. Height 48 cm, width 30 cm, depth 23 cm.
Beautifully engraved front with two dials. The upper dial has enamel rings with Roman numbers and blued-steel hands. You can see the Brocot escapement.
The inferior dial has an indication of the day, the date, the lunar phase and the leap year. All these indications are in Spanish.
The clock has an 8-day movement and strikes the hours and half-hours on a clear bell.
