French Art Deco mantelclock by George Gori “ Femme aux Perdrix” ca 1925.
Base in green, pink and brown marble with a lady and two partridges in bronze and zamac.
Height 52 cm, width 82 cm, depth 25 cm. at the back the movement is sticking out 7 cm.
Gold-colored dial, chrome-plated numbers and hands. 8-Day movement with striking train that strikes the hours and half-hours on a clear bell.
George Gori was a French sculptor, born in 1900. He made many compositions however one with a clock is exceptional. He participated on the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1937.
