English Carriage Clock

This unique brass clock is signed John Davies Chester Portable Alarm.
It is dated around 1840. It’s a movement with an alarm. Both sides open downwards.
On the backside you can settle the alarm. And on the right side of the clock the explanation of the alarm has been engraved.
