An exceptionally rare travel clock integrated into a writing set, consisting of an inkwell and a sand pot. The set is mounted on a wooden base adorned with tortoiseshell, inlaid brass, and gilded ornaments. The travel clock features day and date indications and is signed "Moser à Paris No. 9482." It includes a striking mechanism on a locking disc and has a runtime of one week. Moser produced several of these writing sets, but they were typically custom-made, as no two identical examples have been found.
